Treatment with a variety of medicine can cause a wide range of side effects. The reaction is caused by an allergic response to a medicine or medicinal substance that is formed when broken down by the body.

The rash usually develops medicine triggered the first few days of treatment, but can also occur after a series of treatment is completed.

Sensitivity can develop only after at least one previous exposure to a medicine. People usually take the medicine without having any allergic reaction for the first time, and then develop a rash while taking this medicine on a series of subsequent treatment.
