People whose body fat was not always eat a lot. The study revealed that people with normal body weight actually eat more than those who are overweight.
The assumption many people think if people who are overweight eat a lot for sure, not always true. Recent research, people with normal weight, including those who lost weight drastically and hang on, just eat more frequently than those who are overweight.
The study tried to look at what factors can help a person that weight is not rising fast. Researchers surveyed about 250 people for a year. Researchers found evidence that people who are overweight, eat less snacks (snack) than heavy meals than people in the normal weight range.
"Most studies have shown that people who eat more often, had lower body weight," said lead researcher Jessica Bachman, assistant professor in the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA.
"But no one knows why (it happened)," he said as quoted by Reuters page.
In particular, Bachman wants to understand what the people who successfully lose weight to maintain her figure. It was the first step to help people to lose weight and maintain it at that number.

More than 60 percent of Americans are obese or overweight, but the relationship between the amount of weight of food consumed each day and the ability to maintain body weight, remained unclear. Bachman and her team analyzed data collected in two large studies sponsored
National Institutes of Health.
A study to see the eating habits of people with a body mass index (BMI / weight size relative to height) between 25 and 47-are considered overweight to obese. Other studies have seen a number of men and women with normal weight (BMI 19 to 24.9), about half of them have lost at least 13 pounds and maintained her weight remained low for more than five years.
The researchers also found that the average person with normal weight ate three heavy meals and snacks at least twice each day. Meanwhile, a group of overweight on average eat three meals and no more than one meal a day snack.
Bachman said, burning about 3,000 calories a week through exercise and other activities, compared to 2,000 calories a week among the normal weight subjects and 800 calories a week in the overweight group.
The result, according to Bachman, published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, showed that people who want to lose weight intentionally do more to keep your body to not stretchy back.
"It shows that being extremely physically active and eating more often helps them keep the weight," he said.
She speculates that snacking might help prevent weight gain by preventing hunger feeling great.
"If you eat more frequently, it will stop feeling hungry," Bachman said.
"If you wait 10 hours after your last meal, you end up eating more portions," he said.
"If you sit down and really hungry, you also tend to eat more calories," said Bachman.
Cessation of menstrual cycles is called amenorrhea, which consists of two types: primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. Primary amenorrhea refers to the case in which a woman no longer be menstruating at age 16.
